Toyota will introduce the Sequoia SUV in a powerful version of the TRD ProFebruary 7, 2019
Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV, which appeared back in 2000. As part of the upcoming motor show in Chicago, the Japanese brand is going to present even more off-road access to this car. Yes, yes, it’s about TRD Pro.
The appearance of the Sequoia SUV in the performance of the TRD Pro is not really even changed, the changes at least compared to the rest of the updated TRD Pro lineup are doubly small. It is worth otteit huge inscription TOYOTA on a false grille and black 18.8-inch wheels BBS TRD. The chrome grille now has a black appearance, and the halogen headlights are replaced with LED lights – they also received Rigid Industries LED fog lights.
Customers can choose from four unique body colors. Army Green (exclusive to the TRD Pro line), Super White, Midnight Black Metallic and Magnetic Gray Metallic.
The Sequoia TRD Pro also has additional off-road elements, such as a front skid plate, cast aluminum steps and a TRD reinforced trunk. But there are actually more changes.
Under the hood is a 5.7-liter V8, producing 381 hp. power. Thanks to a different exhaust system, the sound of the engine turned out to be fierce. In combination with the 6-speed automatic transmission Sequoia TRD Pro can tow up to 3 220 kg. The SUV received a towing assistance function, an integrated tow hitch, as well as a special mode of driving when towing.
The novelty received 2.5-inch front shock absorbers with 7 compression zones, two rebound zones – each increased by 18 millimeters. The rear shock absorbers have larger pistons with a diameter of 47 mm and more powerful shock rods, increased by 3.2 mm.
