Toyota Wildlander records record sales in JulyAugust 15, 2020
The crossover entered the Chinese car market in April this year, and its sales peaked in July.
The new Toyota Wildlander crossover has set a sales record. According to the portal “New Cars”, by the end of July dealers of the brand were able to sell more than 10 thousand copies, which was the best result for the model since the moment it entered the market. Thus, the new cross is second only to the permanent bestseller Toyota RAV4. Recall that from a technical point of view, these models are identical, but their exterior is significantly different.
Wildlander received a completely new head optics of an interesting shape, as well as a different design of the taillights. The bumpers and grille were also modified. Dimensions of Toyota Wildlander are 4665x1855x1685 mm, and the distance between the axles reaches 2 690 mm. The engine range consists of two power units – the base is a 2.0-liter “aspirated” with a capacity of 171 hp. The more advanced version has a hybrid engine with a total output of 222 hp. A variator works with both motors as a transmission.
Customers will be able to choose from three all-wheel drive options – classic DTC with automatic power distribution between the axles, DVT with two electric clutches on the rear wheels and the E-Four system, which has an additional electric motor on the rear axle.
In the cabin, we note the presence of a fully digital dashboard, as well as a modern infotainment complex. The most affordable equipment Toyota Wildlander costs 171.8 thousand yuan, and for the top version you will have to pay 241.8 thousand yuan
