Japanese company Toyota announced when sales of the new Wildlander crossover, which is based on the RAV4 model, will begin. The first copies of the new items will begin to arrive at official dealers in April 2020. The new cross-country completely adopted the motor gamut from the RAV4. Two power plants will be available to buyers. The first was a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter engine with 171 hp. There will also be a version with a hybrid version of the engine, which is based on a 2.5-liter engine. The total return of such a power plant will be 222 hp. Both versions will work in tandem with the variator. Drive – front or full, depending on the configuration. But externally, the car received significant differences from the RAV4.
Toyota Wildlander received new bumpers, an interesting radiator grille, as well as a completely redesigned optics.
Noteworthy is the shape of the navigation lights, made with pointed edges. The length of the novelty is 4,600 mm with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. Width – 1 855 mm, and height – 1 685 mm. Among electronic assistants, it is worth noting adaptive cruise control, lane control systems and frontal collision avoidance. According to preliminary data, the price of the Wildlander in the basic configuration will be 173,800 yuan.
