Toyota Wildlander collected 12 thousand orders in just 10 daysMarch 14, 2020
This Japanese crossover is called the fifth generation Toyota RAV4 version.
To accept orders for the new Toyota Wildlander crossover, brand dealers in China began at the end of February. To collect over 12 thousand pre-orders for the new product, the automaker took only ten days. The new SUV is similar to the fifth-generation Toyota RAV4, however, in terms of dimensions, it slightly exceeds its “donor”. Its length goes to “plus” by 65 mm – up to 4,665 mm with a wheelbase of 2,690 mm. The Toyota Wildlander engine range includes a two-liter gasoline engine rated at 171 hp. and a 222-horsepower hybrid consisting of an electric engine and a 2.5-liter atmospheric engine.
The drive can be front or full, and the role of the transmission was given to the variator.
The Japanese paid special attention to equipping their new crossover so that it was easier for him to compete with competitors. So, the list of options available for Wildlander includes intelligent cruise control, an assistant that recognizes road signs, lane control systems and collision avoidance and much more. In Chinese car dealerships, they ask for between 171,800 and 241,800 yuan for the new product. This is a more budget price than the same RAV4. It is estimated at 174,800 – 258,800 yuan.
