The famous 1994 Toyota Supra driven by Paul Walker and featured in two Fast and Furious films sold at auction for $ 550,000

In 2001, The Fast and the Furious introduced the global public to American tuned cars that were being upgraded to participate in illegal street races. Later, a series of films were launched that grew crazier, until in the ninth part of this movie masterpiece, the rocket-powered Pontiac Fiero went into space.

Now there is a chance to own the car star of the original film: Toyota Supra, owned by Brian O’Conner, played by Paul Walker. The car was sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction, which took place from June 17 to 19 in Las Vegas (USA).

This Supra has appeared in many shots of the film and we have seen both its interior and exterior.

Eddie Paul of Shark Shop in El Segundo, California, USA, built this car for the film. “Overhaul” of the car turned it into a golden Supra in the second part of the film, which was called “double fast and furious”. After filming the picture, Supra returned to its famous look.

The iconic Supra has a Candy Orange pearlescent body paint borrowed from the Italian Lamborghini Diablo, as well as figures on the sides known as the “Nuclear Gladiator”. The body kit includes a Bomex front spoiler and side skirts, a TRD-style hood, APR aluminum two-piece rear wing and 19-inch five-spoke wheels.

Not so long ago, our publication wrote that a copy of the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport from Fast and Furious would be auctioned off. In total, 12 copies of the Corvette Grand Sport were collected for filming in this cult film franchise. As a result, only three sports cars have retained their “factory” look.
