Toyota sold all Supra in Europe for 2019March 4, 2019
Apprehensions that the demand for the model will be low, especially on the European market, turned out to be in vain: it took only two months to fully select the quota for this year.
In total, according to the Japanese company “several thousand reservations”, only 900 cars will be delivered to Europe during the year. Those who will not get the car this year can count on getting it next, if, of course, the desire to possess it remains. It is noted that orders for Supra were collected before its official premiere of the European version at the Geneva Motor Show.
Basic equipment costs, for example, in the UK, 52,695 pounds sterling (61 510 euros), and version 3.0L Pro will cost 54 000 pounds (63 035 euros).
In Europe, the Supra will offer a 3.0-liter gasoline turbo engine producing 335 hp. (250 kW) and a torque of 500 Nm. Transmission – 8-speed automatic. In the Launch Control accelerated start mode, acceleration to 100 km / h takes 4.3 seconds, the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h.
In the minimum configuration, the car will receive an “active” differential, adaptive suspension, 19-inch wheels, cruise control, chip key, black Alcantara seat trim. Differences version 3.0L Pro relate only to the equipment and finishes. A combined black and white skin paneling appears in the cabin, there is a projection dashboard, a JBL audio system, a wireless smartphone charger, and a decorative light.
There is no evidence that Toyota could increase the European annual quota of 900 cars, although this is really a bit, considering that the release of the new generation had to wait 17 years.
