Toyota slightly updated the cross C-HRAugust 4, 2020
Today the official presentation of the updated variation of the C-HR model took place. The novelty has acquired modern electronic systems.
The Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is now equipped with Emergency steering assist, first available in Japan. When an obstacle is detected, such as a pedestrian, the computer will independently determine whether there is enough space in the current lane to bypass. In addition, TSS has learned to recognize pedestrians at night and cyclists during the day. All variations of the C-HR for Japan, in particular, have a traffic sign recognition system.
The G, GT, S GR SPORT and ST GR SPORT trim levels are standard equipped with heated front seats, electrically adjustable lumbar support, and a nano-e air ionizer. In addition, it is worth noting the appearance of the Mode-Nero Safety Plus version, which is close to the G and GT variations, but differs from them in the presence of black decor and aluminum wheels.
The cost in the Japanese market starts at 2.382 million yen for the ST modification with a 1.2-liter engine (116 hp), manual transmission and front-wheel drive system. At the same time, the most expensive will be the hybrid version, consisting of a 98-horsepower internal combustion engine and a 73-horsepower electric motor – 3.045 million yen
In addition, it was recently noted that the Toyota RAV4 crossover has tried on an ultra-black special variation. A special modification has received the “talking” name Black Edition. It should be said that dealers of the brand in the EU are already placing orders for a stylish Toyota RAV4.
