Toyota Sienna Woodland Special Edition or adventure minivanApril 27, 2021
Toyota has unveiled a new performance for its 2022 Sienna minivan. The new Sienna, called the Woodland Special Edition, boasts increased ground clearance, as well as large roof rails.
It is good to see that some automakers are still offering minivans to their customers. Like it or not, these cars often outperform most SUVs and crossovers when it comes to space, comfort, and convenience. As such, it is especially gratifying to see an automaker looking to expand on the styling and capabilities of the minivan, and that’s exactly what we have here with the new Toyota Sienna Woodland Special Edition.
This isn’t just a standard version of the minivan with black trim.
Yes, there is black trim – in particular, you will find dark chrome accents on the outside along with black badges, but you will also find roof rails with crossbars that can be used to transport goods or various accessories on the roof. There’s also a standard tow bar that Toyota says is suitable for towing 1,587.57kg, but the big upgrade is the extra ground clearance. Combined with standard all-wheel drive, the Woodland Special Edition should be a little more capable of tackling rough terrain.
The novelty received a blacker interior with sports seats with black trim and contrasting stitching. There is a 1500W power outlet at the rear, and navigation with 1200W JBL Enhanced Stereo is standard. The long-slide second-row captain’s chairs and Toyota Split & Stow third-row seats are also standard, as are sliding doors, heated front seats and plenty of USB ports. In other words, the Woodland Special Edition is a redesigned adventure car that’s also well equipped.
The start of sales of the Japanese novelty is scheduled for this fall. Pricing will be announced closer to the release date.
