Toyota showed the new generation Venza crossoverMay 19, 2020
Toyota demonstrated the updated Venza model.
Unlike its predecessor, which could be called a “high” universal, the novelty now looks like a full-fledged cross. Venza was built on the TNGA platform, which made it possible to make the car much easier, stronger, safer and more convenient.
In the appearance of the cross you can observe similarities with the Mirai sedan, which has a hydrogen power unit on fuel cells. Regarding the interior, it resembles a RAV4. Auto is equipped with a fully digital dashboard, as well as a separate 8-inch multimedia system tablet with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Optionally, the car is equipped with a projection screen, panoramic roof, automatic climate control, seats with ventilation and a digital rearview mirror.
Among the electronic assistants in the Toyota Safety Sense kit, one should note a system for observing traffic lanes, the function of automatically switching the low beam to the high beams, monitoring the driver’s condition and a system for recognizing traffic signs.
The novelty has acquired a hybrid power unit, which includes a 2.5-liter engine, 2 electric motors and a variator. The total performance of the motors was 219 hp.
