Toyota revokes its cars again due to Takata airbags

In addition, at least 112 sets of Takata airbags, which were used as auto repair parts between April 7, 2016 and February 8, 2019, will be recalled.

Toyota clarifies that during this campaign, the latest components will be used that are immune to conditions that adversely affect the operation of conventional Takata pillows. As you know, the deadly danger to the driver and front passenger are the elements of the pillow filling mechanism. The chemical components that ensure the generation of gas and the filling of the pillow when triggered, under the influence of weather conditions, especially with frequent changes in temperature and humidity, change their properties. Filling occurs uncontrollably, as a result of which the mechanism is destroyed, and its parts can cause injuries (including death to the driver and passenger).

The recall will begin in Japan before the end of August.
