Toyota has released a new batch of details about its hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai. The model is said to be available in the US in two trim levels: XLE and Limited, as well as four body colors to choose from: red, blue, white, and presumably gray. In addition, it became known that the model will go on sale in the United States at the end of this year.
Earlier it became known that the novelty will receive the latest multimedia system with a 12.3-inch screen, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, a more capacious fuel cell compared to the previous generation of the model, rear-wheel drive instead of the front and better interior trim.
The cost of the new generation Toyota Mirai is not yet known. It is assumed that the new product will cost more than its predecessor, which now costs in the US from $ 59,545. Most likely, the first clients will take the model for rent, which starts at $ 15,000 per year. In addition, the vehicle is expected to only be available on the west coast of the United States, where a network of hydrogen fueling stations exists.
