Toyota officially unveils updated Toyota RAV4August 7, 2020
Following the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV, the C-HR crossover and the Camry sedan, the restyling received another crossover from the Japanese brand – RAV4.
After restyling, the model did not change externally, but received an upgraded multimedia system and a number of technical changes. For example, remaining in the old case with thick frames and physical buttons, the stock multimedia with a 9-inch touchscreen received support for SmartDeviceLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which allows you to display a number of useful applications on the screen.
The equipment of the Toyota RAV4 now includes all-round cameras, available in most trim levels, as well as the Intelligent Clearance Sonar system, which will exclude the possibility of a sharp acceleration of the car when an obstacle is detected next to it in the event that a person confuses the pedals when parking.
The updated Toyota RAV4 crossover is currently only available in Japan. The cost of new items starts at 2.74 million yen. In this version, the crossover is powered by a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine. The top version of the model with a hybrid power plant will cost at least 4.03 million yen.
