“Charged” hatchback received an additional tuning package GR Parts
The motorsport division of Toyota Gazoo Racing has prepared a package of improvements for the “charged” Yaris GR hatchback, which will begin deliveries in late 2020 or early 2021. With them, the look of the model will become even more “aggressive”, while the elements of the set can be purchased both together and separately.
The most notable new addition to the Yaris GR is the body kit, which includes new front and rear spoilers, side skirts and a pair of twin tailpipes.
Additional decor has also appeared: a red stripe under the line of the windows, new nameplates and carbon frames for the rooms. You can “dress up” the Yaris GR body for 415,800 yen.
For the interior, Gazoo Racing offers carbon fiber inserts for the dashboard and door cards, special foot mats and boot mats. The catalog also contains the Toyota Gazoo Racing Recorder, which connects to the USB input and allows you to record and analyze data while driving on the track. Interior upgrades cost – 165,000 yen
In addition, for 33,594 yen, you can purchase a red A-pillar strut, and for 3,900 yen you can change the valve cover to a new one with the GR logo.
The hatchback Toyota GR Yaris is equipped with a 1.6-liter “turbo-three” with direct fuel injection. In the Japanese version, it develops up to 272 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, and in the European version – 260 forces (360 Nm).
The motor works with a six-speed manual transmission and the GR-FOUR all-wheel drive system. Acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour takes a European hot hatch 5.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 230 kilometers per hour.
