Toyota Land Cruiser may get GR versionOctober 18, 2020
Toyota may expand its GR lineup to include a new Land Cruiser SUV.
For example, a Toyota representative in Australia in an interview with Motoring said that there is no reason why the Land Cruiser and Toyota Hilux could not get GR variations.
It should be said that, in general, the idea of releasing a Land Cruiser in GR performance is not bad. As noted by the foreign publication, such a modification of the model could acquire a 268-horsepower twin-turbo petrol engine of 4.0 liters V8 from Lexus.
At the same time, there is currently absolutely no information about the possible timing of the release of the GR Land Cruiser. Therefore, it remains only to wait for the official statements of the Japanese corporation on this matter.
Recall that the Toyota Land Cruiser is an SUV that the Japanese company Toyota Motor Corporation has been producing since 1951. Note that the Land Cruiser is produced longer than all other cars of the Japanese brand.
In addition, it was recently reported that the new Japanese cross Toyota Wildlander is incredibly popular. It is worth saying that the novelty debuted in the spring of this year – since that period, the model has only become more popular.
