Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage 2020 introduced in ChicagoFebruary 8, 2019
The Japanese brand has decided to release another “special” version of its SUV. The car was designed and dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the model, and is distinguished by a number of stylistic decisions, as well as a set of standard equipment.
The frame SUV Toyota Land Cruiser has been produced for 60 years, but considering its first version, sold under the name Toyota Bj in 1951, the age approaches 70 years. Since then, the car has established itself as a reliable SUV with increased comfort for reasonable money. Therefore, the company decided to present a commemorative series called Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition 2020.
The main distinctive feature of the model will be the “vintage” style, traced in unique (created specifically for this model) 18-inch bronze discs, black accents on the grille and side mirrors, additional nameplates on the rear fenders, and a massive roof rack. Another feature will be the lack of steps and door sills.
The salon continues the overall styling and is trimmed with black leather with bronze stitching. Also, Toyota equipped the car with special all-season floor mats. Unfortunately, the three-row version will not. A body color can be chosen only among two shades – Midnight Black Metallic or Blizzard Pearl.
Under the hood, a 5.7-liter V8 engine is installed, capable of developing up to 381 horses, working with an automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive system. The series will be limited to 1,200 copies.
