Toyota is trying to revive sales of Toyota Yaris with another restylingSeptember 3, 2019
Tempting discounts and great deals that the Japanese automaker did not skimp on for months have not helped drive Toyota Yaris sales. He, as before, lagged behind his competitors in the segment. To correct the situation, the brand decided to offer customers a new version of the model.
Toyota, wanting to increase the interest of buyers in the Toyota Yaris sedan, will introduce an updated model to the market. It is known that the exterior of Yaris and its interior have been restyled. These changes cannot be called radical, but with their help the automaker is counting on growth in sales. Thus, the updated Toyota Yaris will receive a two-tone body color (the upper part is black, and the lower one is white, gray or red for choice), as well as new alloy wheels with diamond cut. In the passenger compartment, seats are decorated with new eco-leather upholstery. In addition, experts have improved multimedia, which now supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
On the technical side of the changes are not expected. The restyled Yaris will be equipped with a one and a half liter dual VVT-i engine with a return of 109 horsepower. A pair of it is either 6MKPP, or a variator.
Buying the basic version of the car, buyers can rely on ABS and EBD, seven airbags, disc brakes for all wheels, a rear view camera and parking sensors. How much the novelty will cost is not yet reported. According to forecasts by auto experts, Toyota may lower prices for its car in order to attract new customers and plug in the belt of rivals.
