The presentation of the new compact crossover Toyota Raize for the Japanese market. Dealers have already received their debut product samples, sales should begin soon.
The Raize crossover is the first joint model of Toyota and Daihatsu (a subsidiary of Toyota), the new car combines small dimensions and practicality. At the heart of the car is the innovative DNGA platform on which the Daihatsu Rocky prototype, presented at the Tokyo auto show in October, is built.
The length of the new model is 3995 mm, the width is only 1695 mm, at the same time, the crossover has the most capacious luggage compartment in its class – 369 liters of usable space, while it can be doubled by folding the rear seats.
The design of the front of the car forms an angular bumper and a large grille, and thin LED headlights with dynamic direction indicators indicate the use of advanced technologies in the model.
In the interior of the novelty, you can see a fully digital dashboard and a touch screen of a modern 7-inch multimedia complex. The seats are quite ergonomic and have pronounced lateral support and a bright red stitch, which is also used on door panels and air ducts on the central panel.
The novelty received a three-cylinder 1.0-liter gasoline turbo engine 1KR-VET. Motor specifications are currently kept secret. It is also known that the power unit will operate in conjunction with the D-CVT variator, the drive is offered both front and full.
Ross very soon should appear on sale in the Japanese market. The new model will be offered in three trim levels, its cost will range from 1,679,000 to 2,282,200 yen. In other countries, the novelty should be released next year.
It was also previously reported that Toyota GR Supra GT4 became available for order in Europe. The novelty has become much lighter than the usual Supra, and has also received a more efficient engine and a number of improvements.
