Toyota brings Tacoma, Tundra and 4Runner to Chicago in special edition Trail EditionsFebruary 6, 2020
All three models will go on sale this summer. This special series is far from the only one that the Japanese automaker showed visitors to the Chicago Motor Show.
We already talked about the “blackened” models of Toyota Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia, which debuted at the Chicago auto show. Now we’re talking about another special edition of Trail Editions, available for Tacoma, Tundra and 4Runner. All these cars in the new version are based on the SR5 configuration. Special body shades are available for them – “army” green, complex gray Cement, black Midnight Black and white Super White. Black armchairs with contrasting brown stitching, as well as all-weather rugs, are located in the chicago novelties.
Pickup Tundra Trail Edition also relies spectacular chrome grille, special wheels and a built-in lockable storage compartment, located along the inner walls of the cargo compartment.
The Tacoma pickup truck has the same insulated compartment, off-road tires and a 115-volt power outlet in the cargo compartment. The 4Runner Trail Edition SUV got special wheels that have a positive effect on car patency, a Yakima cargo basket on the roof, etc. There is no information on the cost of such a styling package yet. However, it is now known that special versions will receive a limited edition.
