Toyota begins sales of the updated Fortuner TRD Sportivo SUVSeptember 10, 2019
The first commercial copies of the restyled SUV will go to the dealerships of the brand in a couple of days. In the meantime, scans of the official newsletter brochure hit the Web.
September 12, Toyota dealers in India will receive the first copies of the updated Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2020 with a branded body kit from Toyota Racing Development. From the “pre-reform” SUV, the novelty is distinguished by modified bumpers, a different radiator grille, “foglights” of a different shape, original 18-inch alloy wheels, two-tone body color and reconfigured suspension. Also, after the upgrade, the SUV got a more efficient brake system.
The interior of the new Fortuner TRD Sportivo will feature modern multimedia with a seven-inch touchscreen and premium acoustics from JBL. When decorating the seats and door cards, the manufacturer used perforated leather in black and burgundy.
The new four-wheel drive SUV is equipped with a 2.8-liter turbodiesel rated at 174 hp, combined with a six-speed automatic. For safety and driving comfort, adaptive cruise control, round-robin video surveillance cameras and a frontal collision warning system are responsible here.
