Toyota begins accepting orders for the Wildlander crossoverJanuary 3, 2020
The car premiered in November 2019 at the Guangzhou Motor Show.
Japanese Toyota announced the start date of accepting orders for the new Toyota Wildlander crossover. Official dealers of the Japanese brand will start accepting applications on November 9th – at the moment the car is only available in the Chinese car market. Note that Wildlander is a modified version of the new generation RAV4 crossover. The Wildlander has modified bumpers, running lights, taillights, and a redesigned grille. The dimensions are fully consistent with Toyota RAV4 – 4600x1855x1685 mm with a wheelbase of 2 690 mm.
A choice of Chinese customers will be offered 2 different engines – a 2.0-liter engine with a return of 171 hp, as well as a hybrid power plant consisting of a 2.5-liter aspirated engine and an electric motor. The total return of such a power unit will be 222 hp. As a gearbox, a stepless variator is used. Note the wide selection of all-wheel drive systems.
Depending on the selected configuration, there are three different versions – standard, with separate connection of the rear wheels, as well as with an additional electric motor on the rear axle for the hybrid version.
Toyota Wildlander is available in 4 different trim levels. Of the technical equipment, we note adaptive cruise control, lane control systems and frontal collision avoidance, all-round camera. For the basic version of the crossover will have to pay 173,800 yuan
