Toyota is preparing for its debut and launch on the market an updated Fortuner SUV. The car will be shown to the general public in the spring of this year, and now new products are being tested. The current generation of the SUV has been produced since 2015, so fans of the brand were waiting for the update. Even behind a dense layer of camouflage, significant changes are visible in the front of the car – the developers came up with a bumper of complex design, as well as updated the grille and design of the navigation lights. On the back of the car it’s more difficult to draw conclusions – at the moment only new lights are visible. At the moment, there is little information about the interior of the novelty of information, but there is almost no doubt that the most advanced technologies will be used regarding car systems and the ability to control them.
It is assumed that the motor range of the car will remain unchanged. If this is confirmed, then buyers will be able to choose from 2 powertrains.
The first is a 2.7-liter aspirated engine with 166 hp, and the second is a 2.8-liter turbodiesel with 177 hp. The first works with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, and the second relies only on automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is available in all trim levels. Prices for the new product will be announced closer to the start of sales.
