Toy Chevrolet CamaroFebruary 7, 2020
One of the unique instances of the Hot Wheels series, known for its cast toy car models, belongs to toy collector Joel Magee from the United States.
We are talking about the white Chevrolet Camaro, which was estimated at 100 thousand dollars. In the 1967th, a toy car cost only 59 cents. This toy is one of 16 copies of the first batch of miniature copies of the American sports car. Today, for the amount in which the toy car was valued, you can immediately buy four original Chevy Camaro, whose cost starts at 25 thousand dollars, Carscoops portal.
Some experts believe that in the private collection they found a “prototype”, with the help of which at one time they checked the manufacturing quality of the entire batch of Camaro toys.
Such “control” cars, as a rule, were not selected outside the factory. The fact that the Chevrolet Camaro found is a prototype is indicated by its color. Prototypes were specially painted in this shade – it helped to see all the defects and inaccuracies.
The owner of a unique car Joel Magee does not plan to sell it. Instead, the collector wants to send a toy Chevrolet Camaro on a tour across America to participate in various kinds of toy exhibitions.
