Toy Chevrolet Camaro with a real engine burns tiresOctober 29, 2019
The authors of the YouTube channel Grind Hard Plumbing Co installed a real engine from the ATV in the children’s toy Chevrolet Camaro, which turned out to be a little less than the whole car, and then they burnt tires a little.
If you thought that after a swap in Skyline of an electric motor from Tesla and a 600-horsepower V8 to the old Mini Cooper, you will not be surprised at anything, then do not rush to draw conclusions – the custom world is harsh and ruthless, and sometimes generates projects on the verge of absurdity. For example, a plastic Camaro for children with a real engine, which, among other things, can burn tires.
In front of the toy, where the real cars are located in the engine compartment, they installed a 500 cc engine from the Polaris Predator ATV. The oil tank was placed under the steering column, and the gas tank – under the seats between the frame rails. A small radiator for cooling the fuel is clamped between them, to which it is supplied by a metal frame welded especially for the car.
The project is still under development – the authors want to turn the toy into a full-fledged car with air suspension, which can both easily overcome off-road conditions and drive on ordinary roads. In the meantime, he was taught to burn tires quite effectively, like a real “adult” Camaro.
This, incidentally, is not the first project of Grind Hard Plumbing Co – in 2018, a video with a pink card appeared on the Web, which was built on the basis of the children’s Ford Mustang. They called the car with a 240 cc engine from a motorcycle Honda CRF 230 Barbie Mustang Go Kart.
