The team of Formula 1 Aston Martin Red Bull Racing has published a video in which its pilots Max Verstappen and Alex Albon, drive through the historical places of the Netherlands and look at the sights of the country. The video was shot before the start of the coronavirus pandemic, due to which several Grand Prix were canceled and the start of the racing season was postponed.
During this excursion, riders visited the port of Rotterdam, the Royal Palace and the sandy beach of Scheveningen in The Hague, as well as flower plantations and the largest flower auction in the world, located near Amsterdam. In addition, the pilots drove along the city streets, the Zandvoort circuit, and saw another symbol of the country – windmills.
Because of the coronavirus, the Grand Prix of Australia and Monaco were canceled, and another six stages were postponed indefinitely. Promoters are trying to develop a new calendar consisting of 15-18 races. The championship is expected to begin in two races in Austria: the first will be held on July 5, the second on July 12.
After that, Formula 1 will arrive at the British Silverstone. All races are likely to be held without spectators.
