Top Gear showed the Koenigsegg supercar factory from the inside
April 23, 2019The town of Angelholm in Sweden, in the north-west of Sweden’s southernmost Lena, Skåne, the center of the commune of the same name, is hardly widely known in the world. With a population of about 41,500 people, it is not very popular among tourists, but there is something interesting in this city.
For example, Swedish supercars Koenigsegg are produced in this city – one of the most powerful and fast cars in the world. And for those who can not get to Angelholm personally, Top Gear journalists have prepared a video tour of the brand’s factory.
At the factory, all guests are greeted by a bright orange Koenigsegg CCXR, but this model has long been replaced by Agera, and now by Jesko. The video captured the process of assembling a 1600-hp hypercar, which was prepared for the world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019.
In the 22-minute video, you can not only see in detail the production process of Koenigsegg supercars, but also (for those who know English) learn a lot of interesting things from the conversation of Christian von Koeningsberg and Top Gear Magazine journalist Jack Ricks.
