Chris Harris has an accident
The presenter of Top Gear Chris Harris had an accident. On his Porsche 911 GT3 Touring, he crashed into a truck when it was turning in the center of a blind corner. As a result of the incident in Wales, where Harris was supposed to be involved in filming for Top Gear magazine, no one was hurt.
A source familiar with the details of the incident told Jalopnik that the truck was trying to turn around when the Porsche crashed into it, stuck between the front and rear wheels. The police called to the scene considered that Harris had not exceeded the speed and charged the penalty points to the truck driver.
In February, during the filming of one of the episodes of Top Gear, the pre-production version of the Alpine A110 coupe caught fire. At that moment, Chris Harris and Eddie Jordan were in the car. The incident occurred at the seventeenth special stage of the Monte Carlo Rally, and the presenters did not know that the car was on fire.
The film crew warned them that the flames were breaking out from under the bottom of the sports car. Harris and Jordan had time to leave the car, without receiving any injuries.
