Tokyo Motor Show premieres Honda FitOctober 23, 2019
The new generation car will receive five different trim levels. Experts note a high level of technical equipment and excellent visibility from the cab.
Subcompact car Honda Fit debuts at the auto show, which these days takes place in the capital of Japan. The current generation is already the fourth for the model, which caused a huge stir, having appeared on the market in 2001. The new Fit will be able to offer its customers an excellent view of the car – this was achieved due to the redesigned front pillar design. Moreover, this option should improve security in a frontal collision. Japanese engineers have worked on security in terms of electronics. The Honda Sensing system is integrated into the car, which includes a front camera and eight sensors to improve the functionality of the emergency braking system.
It is worth noting that such a system is even included in the basic package. In total, Honda will offer customers five different car modifications to choose from.
They will be called Basic, Home, Ness, Crosstar and Luxe. There is no exact information about the engine yet. It is assumed that the car will be equipped with a hybrid power plant e: HEV. This motor has already been announced for the Accord sedan. In addition, the Honda Connect system will debut in the new generation of Fit, which allows you to control the car from a smartphone, and also makes emergency calls if necessary. The novelty will go on sale in February next year. Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
