Today will be presented the Japanese Mazda RX-Vision GT3 for the game Gran Turismo SportMay 22, 2020
For the iconic Gran Turismo Sport car simulator, the Japanese supercar Mazda RX-Vision GT3 will be available. The machine will appear in the next update for the game, which will be presented today.
Gran Turismo car simulator has long been the “place” in which the craziest (in the good sense of the word) racing cars appear. One of the most unusual of them was the Red Bull X2010 – a very, very powerful car designed for fast driving on a racetrack. The developers of the game noted that after the next update to this game, the players will have access to a new car that everyone has been waiting for so long.
The new car is a specification of the GT3 Mazda RX-Vision concept, previously shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2015.
While the car looks very impressive, Mazda wanted its dynamic performance to match the exterior. The car is equipped with a racing version of the new generation of the famous rotary engine SKYACTIV-R. To be competitive in its class, Mazda sought to use a four-rotor configuration that would be complemented by SKYACTIV technology.
The rotating “heart” of the RX-Vision is an integral part of Mazda and its motorsport division. After successfully producing a rotary engine for commercial use, the automaker worked tirelessly to improve the motor for use in motorsport. To Mazda’s credit, they won a complete victory in the LeMans 24 Hours endurance race in 1991 with the famous 787B.
RX-Vision will be available on Gran Turismo Sport games starting May 22 this year. Allowing gamers to try out the new car, GT Sport will host two events on May 22 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Mazda and the debut of the RX-Vision GT3 concept.
