General Motors begins accepting pre-orders for pickup Hummer
The premiere of the pickup under the revived Hummer brand will take place on October 20 – at the same time, the acceptance of pre-orders with a deposit of $ 100 will begin.
There are two days left before the presentation of the American electric pickup GMC Hummer EV – the premiere was originally scheduled for May 20, but due to the pandemic it was postponed to the fall. Immediately after the debut of the electric car, it will be possible to place a preliminary order on the manufacturer’s website – however, according to Automotive News, those wishing to order an electric Hummer will be asked for $ 100 as a deposit. When placing an order, you can choose one of four finishing options.
GMC VP of Marketing Phil Brook said future owners will also have to choose an authorized dealer from whom they will collect their electric pickup. Hummer EV production will only start in the fall of 2021. It is known that the electric pickup will receive several variants of power plants, including a three-engined 1000 horsepower. From standstill to 60 miles (96 kilometers) per hour Hummer will accelerate in about three seconds, promised in GMC.
