Tuning company from Germany presented two levels of power increase for the BMW Z4 M40i roadster. I must say that this car already has 382 horses and 500 Nm of the moment. Dynamic characteristics unfortunately not announced.

A recent test showed that the Z4 roadster in the M40i version has more power than the automaker officially claims, but this does not prevent people from complaining about BMW’s decision to exclude a full-fledged Z4 M from the lineup. to companies. If you want an inline six-cylinder engine to be able to give you higher power and torque values, then this is exactly what you need.

The standard BMW Z4 M40i has a 3.0-liter engine producing 382 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. German tuner Dähler is ready to offer several levels of increasing the power of this car. For a start, power will increase to 402 hp (620 Nm), the maximum speed limiter will be removed at the same time. Stage 2 raises output values to 435 hp (640 Nm).

Unfortunately, the tuner doesn’t say anything about how the power gain improved performance, but undoubtedly this upgraded BMW Z4 can show acceleration to the first 100 km/h far less than 4.4 seconds, shown by the standard version of the car. Yes, and the maximum speed is clearly above 250 km / h.

The “charged” roadster received BMW M branded round exhaust pipes. For an extra effect, the edge of the spoiler on the front bumper was added, while the standard wheels were replaced with a wider 21-inch set of custom alloys, and thin tires from Michelin were offered as tires.

Complete spring changes that lower the suspension to the road. Alternatively, customers can choose a suspension that is adjustable in height and hardness.
