This one in the trash broken Toyota Supra trying to sellOctober 27, 2019
Apparently, the insurance company intends to sell the broken Supra: the auction will be held in Maryland. The starting price has not yet been announced, so we do not know how much half of the Toyota Supra 2020 model year in the Launch Edition package can cost.
But obviously, the restoration of a sports car will cost a lot. Supra has practically no front end and, apparently, the power unit is seriously damaged. It is impossible to exclude the likelihood that the entire structure of the “skeleton” of the coupe was thoroughly affected. At the same time, there are practically no injuries in the cabin, with the exception of the deployed airbags, and, according to our data, no one was injured during the collision.
An onboard video has appeared in social networks that can shed some light on the nuances of the accident. Strictly speaking, we cannot be sure that the same sports car is captured on video and photo, but it is unlikely that two identical Toyota Supra of the same color in the same configuration could have an accident with similar injuries at about the same time.
Apparently, only a fast car enthusiast can buy a skeleton of a sports car: the remains of the Supra will be a good basis, for example, to create some kind of drift car with an alternative engine – for example, the well-known 2JZ.
