This is what the next generation of the Honda Civic sedan might look likeOctober 6, 2020
Renders of the sedan Honda Civic 2022 got on the Web. They depict a stylish Japanese “four-door” of the new generation: a new production car could well be like that.
When creating the renders, KDesign AG used all the available “visual” material on the new Honda Civic sedan. These are, for example, spy photos of a novelty.
The result is a very real car, close to the serial one. In this form, the next sedan could appear before the public during its debut, scheduled for next year. The overall design concept of the 11th generation Civic is to make the car more concise and simpler. So, the curved headlights that we see on the current sedan are smoothed out here.
The grille is narrower and the bumper is sleeker. “Fog lights” in KDesign AG were placed in the corners of the bottom panel. Complementing the new sedan’s image is a smooth roofline and expressive stern with new taillights – together they give the new sedan a coupé shape.
The sedan’s interior was not rendered, but we know that Honda will place a multimedia display at the top of the center console. There is room underneath for the HVAC controls.
The premiere of the novelty is promised to be organized in the spring of 2021; the new Civic will go on sale as a car of the 2022 model year. The novelty will learn about the Si version, which was confirmed by the automaker itself, as well as the Type R performance (we know about this thanks to photo spies).
Meanwhile, the new sports car Nissan Z Proto has been turned into a safari car. An independent designer who has released curious renderings has equipped the new product with a rooftop tent, off-road tires and additional lighting.
