The organizers of this race decided to find out if the most powerful car in the history of the Swedish automaker will be able to prevail over these high-performance Germans.

  Representatives of BMW M, Mercedes-AMG, Audi S and Volvo Polestar participate in this competition. But whose car is the best? Well, one of the ways to understand this issue is to arrange a race in a straight line (drag racing), so we will find out which one is the fastest.

Our first rival is Volvo – the S60 sedan, tuned by the Polestar Engineered atelier. The third-generation model debuted in 2019, and, as with previous integrations of this model, Polestar was invited to improve the model’s performance.

After the guys from the Polestar Engineered completed all work on the S60, the latter can rightfully be called the most powerful Volvo ever created thanks to its turbocharged in-line engine, which is driven by an electric motor located on the rear axle.

Power of the 2.0-liter engine increased to 415 hp In addition, the car received Ohlins shock absorbers, as well as massive Brembo brakes.

Under the hood of the “charged” station wagon Audi S4 Avant 2020 model year is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with a capacity of 342 hp. To reduce turbo lag, an electrically powered air compressor was installed to help the turbines swell faster.

 The latest generation 3-Series Sedan enters the battle with 382 horsepower. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter in-line “six” B58B30 turbocharged that works with an 8-speed “automatic”. The M340i is offered with the BMW XDrive all-wheel drive system. Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 4.1 seconds.

 Our latest contender comes from the more affordable part of the Mercedes-AMG line. The stunning AMG E53 Coupé is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, aided by a soft hybrid system. The result is a respectable 429 horsepower with minimal turbo lag.
