This is power – presented by Audi RS7 from ABT studioJanuary 30, 2020
The tuner demonstrates its latest projects based on the RS4 and RS6 station wagons, and the RS Q8 crossover. Well, the stylish fastback now boasts 690 hp. (880 Nm).
Tuners from the well-known ABT company managed to get some of the latest RS-family models from the Audi Sport sports division, including the recently updated RS4 Avant station wagon and the all-new RS6 Avant. In addition to generalists, the guys worked on the flagship crossover RS Q8, but most of all, we would like to talk about the RS7 Sportback.
We don’t know if this is one of the exclusive and expensive matte body colors from Audi (5,800 euros in Germany) or its own blue shade from ABT, but we know that it looks absolutely fantastic on the magnificent RS7.
The stylish fastback boasts a set of 22-inch ABT alloy wheels. As the company’s representatives themselves call these wheels, they are “the world’s first mass-produced aerodynamic wheels”.
The motors of all four RS-family models depicted here have undergone a major upgrade: the RS4 Avant now boasts 503 hp. (660 Nm) – 2.9-liter V6 with two turbines, which usually produces 444 hp. (600 Nm). The other three models use a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and already has 591 hp. (800 Nm), but ABT felt that was not enough. Now these large RS models have received power of 690 hp. (880 Nm).
The best is yet to come as ABT engineers are working on the new RS6-R. It will be announced soon that the super-versatile person will likely have more than 700 hp, given how his predecessor received 720 hp. This is not the most powerful Audi ever created by ABT, as this role is attributed to the RS6-E hybrid with an amazing power of 1018 hp.
