A new video from the JayEmm on Cars channel on YouTube shows the second-generation Porsche Boxster from which the 1956 1956 Speedster was made. The car costs 69,995 pounds

Thanks to its low windshield, bucket seats and a rather unusual hinged top, the original Porsche 356 Speedster immediately gained popularity when it appeared in 1954. Only a few thousand copies of this model were built on a solid structure, which made their subsequent restoration difficult. In fact, this means that at the moment there are only a few hundred original cars, and each of them is worth a small fortune.

If you really want to purchase a refurbished 356 Speedster, but don’t want to spend about a million US dollars, there is a very interesting offer from the United Kingdom.

The car is called the Iconic Autobody 387 Speedster and, as its name suggests, this car is based on the second-generation Boxster and has a highly modified body inspired by the original 365 Speedster.

A new video from the JayEmm on Cars channel on YouTube shows a car whose build quality is actually very good. A voiceover says that all body panels are “well-fitted” – take a closer look, the gaps on the panels are really minimal. Painting work can also be called high quality.

Unlike the completely remodeled exterior, the car’s interior was left partly original. Separately, it is worth noting the harmonious combination of brown leather and retro fabric. The car has very good handling, and this is due to the good chassis and engine from Boxster.

The company, which plans to build 356 copies of the 1954 reptile Speedster, is currently selling one, and this is exactly the machine that is shown in the video. Its cost is 69,995 pounds.
