This is a rather strange tuning of a Ford Ranger pickup truck from Motion R Design studioDecember 6, 2019
Atelier Motion R Design will offer a fully carbon aerodynamic body kit for the American Ford Ranger pickup truck. There are no official prices yet, but according to rumors, to “dress” the truck in a carbon body kit.
The mid-size Ford Ranger pickup quite often falls into the hands of various tuning studios. Whatever they did with this car, a pickup version with different military attributes was presented, an incredibly powerful modification that was shown at the SEMA 2019 tuning exhibition.
This time, the guys from Motion R Design decided to show what the Ford Ranger would look like with an aerodynamic body kit that is made entirely of carbon fiber.
Named “one of the most upscale, most unique offers on the market”, this pickup truck features wider wheel arches matching its 20-inch concave alloy wheels with off-road tires pulled over it. Also worth noting are the carbon-fiber front fenders, the rear side panels and the rear bumper, from which the exhaust pipe made of stainless steel sticks out.
In front of the truck, modifications are also significant. The standard false radiator grille was replaced by another, which has a radically different design and is also made of carbon fiber, there are also modified air intakes, air vents on the wings, a tailgate spoiler and a special rear bumper diffuser. Again, all of these elements are made of carbon fiber.
Inside, the changes on the contrary are minor and include a new steering wheel with perforated leather and carbon fiber inserts, as well as carbon fiber elements. On request, you can order Nappa leather seats and leather door cards.
There is no official pricing information yet, but it looks like Motion R Design is requesting £ 39,995 for its work to modernize the truck (without leather trim). This is a huge figure for a truck with a starting price of $ 24,410 currently in the United States.
Not so long ago, we wrote that Ford has patented an electric F-150 with four electric motors. The Mach-E Club forum has circulated information about the new Ford patent for the F-150 electric pickup.
