These are the very first photos of the updated Audi RS3 SedanMarch 24, 2020
Some publications shared pictures from the tests of the high-performance German sedan Audi RS3 Sportback. The car was camouflaged. The premiere of the novelty will be held at the end of this year.
Here are photos from the tests of the powerful German Audi RS3 Sportback sedan, a car that will compete with the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45. Apparently, the long-awaited novelty, which was tested in cold Sweden, already has most of the serial body elements, as well as a serial front and rear optics. From the large air intakes at the front to the oval tailpipes at the back, there are many signs that we are faced with an unusual version of the A3 sedan.
On the test car, there was a lot of camouflage, but this can not stop us from seeing bulging wings and a thin trunk lid spoiler.
A closer look at the front axle reveals drilled rotors and red brake calipers, while black rims with winter tires will be replaced with a wider kit with wider rubber on a production car.
Under the hood of the novelty will be an in-line five-cylinder Audi turbocharged engine, which is likely to produce 394 horsepower (480 Nm). All this power coming from the 2.5-liter unit will be sent exclusively to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
In addition, there are rumors about a hotter performance of the RS3 Performance with a capacity of up to 444 hp, but at the moment these data have not yet been confirmed. Such a performance of the car would compete with the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S, whose 2.0-liter turbocharged engine could very well generate 416 hp. It is too early to talk about the dynamic characteristics of the Audi RS3 Sportback.
