There were pictures of the electric crossover Ford Mach EAugust 22, 2019
A test prototype of an electric crossover was seen near Ford headquarters. It is expected that the official presentation of the American news will take place next year.
In just a few months, we will see for the first time the long-awaited Ford electric crossover, which was created using elements of the Mustang sports coupe. The novelty will be presented as a concept. Insider reports say Ford plans to run the show in November, probably at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The full production version of the model will be shown in 2020.
A couple of minutes ago, our editorial office had “spy” photos that depicted a prototype of an electric crossover. Unfortunately, the car is covered with a wide variety of camouflage patterns – here are films and false panels.
Nevertheless, this is our first look at Ford’s electric SUV. The test car was captured near the headquarters of the “blue oval” in Michigan (USA). At first glance, because of the impressive camouflage, nothing can be considered here, but this is not entirely true.
The black part of the camouflage is designed to hide the more elegant body shape of the car, which actually resembles a coupe. It seems that camouflage on the front of the seen prototype hides almost serial optics. LED headlights and a convex grille are most visible behind the coating. Although, based solely on these photos, we can’t find any details that “make relatives” of the crossover with the Mustang coupe.
Ford’s electric crossover, dubbed Mach E, will have a range of 482 km. It is known, but the novelty will directly compete with the Tesla Model Y crossover, which will go on sale next year and will cost less than $ 40,000
