There were photos of the updated wagon Skoda OctaviaMay 27, 2019
The prototype of the Czech wagon, which will be positioned as a car of the 2020 model year, received a large amount of camouflage. Already we can see that the car looks better than the current version of the model, in addition, it has become larger in size.
Skoda has just unveiled its new flagship, the Superb model and the all-electric Citigo, but the biggest presentation planned for 2019 is still to come. We are talking about a brand new Octavia, which this year marks 60 years, and it will appear in the coming months. This announcement was made earlier this year during the Skoda annual press conference. This was announced by the head of the automaker Bernhardo Meier. Now there are new “spy” pictures of the long-awaited car from the beautiful Alps, where you can see the wagon of the fourth generation.
The Octavia Combi is still heavily disguised. Skoda engineers even installed fake panels around the perimeter of the body and painted them white to make us believe that the test car was disguised.
Even the headlights are covered with artificial stickers, but the LED daytime running lights at the bottom of the clusters are visible and confirm the recent rumors about Skoda’s decision to return to their usual configuration instead of keeping the strange design of twin headlights. The rear lights are also camouflaged and seem to stretch on the back door.
According to rumors, the official presentation of the novelty will be held at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Not so long ago, we wrote that Skoda officially unveiled the first own electric Citigoe iV.
