The newly created Spanish company Seat sports sub-brand Cupra, introduced the high-performance hatchback Leon Cupra R ST. The car does not have the usual icons Seat.
Based on the compact hatchback Seat Leon, the new product boasts a modernized 2.0-liter turbo engine. The motor develops power of 300 hp (400 Nm). Sprint from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h. Braking power is provided by Brembo brakes with 340 mm front rotors and 310 mm rear rotors.
“Leon Cupra R ST represents our ability to create unique, exciting cars with the most advanced technologies that will appeal to even the most demanding drivers,” said Antonino Labate, director for strategy, business development and operations of Cupra.
“The car represents the result of our achievements in motor sport, and also demonstrates the abilities of our designers and engineers in the combination of performance and functionality.”
Leon Cupra R ST is equipped with a front splitter, side skirts, mirror housings and a diffuser body with two exhaust pipes on each side, as well as newly developed side air intakes. He rides on exclusive 19-inch wheels and can be ordered in one of four exterior colors. Across the body is copper accents. Inside, there are sports seats, a digital dashboard, and keyless entry system.
The guys from Cupra have not yet disclosed the price of their new product, but we should know about it soon enough, since sales of Leon Cupra R ST will begin this month.
