There was an image of the serial electric cross Subaru EvoltisNovember 16, 2020
Carscoops has published a render of the upcoming electric crossover Subaru Evoltis.
Note that this new product is being developed together with Toyota specialists, and the demonstration of the concept model took place in January this year. Judging by the illustration, a lot of the upcoming electric car borrowed from German auto brands, for example, a hexagonal false radiator grille from Audi and daytime running lights of a futuristic shape used by the Germans. In turn, the design of the Japanese electric car itself is a combination of contrasting blocks with an angular surface.
Also worth noting is the contrasting roofline and camera instead of the standard side mirrors. As for the stern, it should get a monolithic shape with a flat surface and a curved rear door glass, as well as a full-width LED taillight.
Evoltis will be built on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform, which supports both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems. Speaking of the interior, it still remains undisclosed, at the same time, we can expect the appearance of a modern multimedia system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as many touch screens. In addition, the novelty should receive a third level autopilot system.
The Evoltis cross will be offered with a battery with a capacity of 50 to 100 kWh, therefore, the range of the new model will vary within 300 – 599 kilometers. Regarding the technical part, the novelty should be equipped with two electric motors with a capacity of 215 (in the standard version) and 402 hp. (in the flagship variation).
The competitors of the upcoming electric cross are called Volkswagen ID.4, Ford Mustang Mach-e, Nissan Ariya, Genesis JW, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Mercedes-Benz EQC, Tesla Model Y and Audi e-Tron. According to assumptions, Subaru will present a new product in 2021 or 2022, it is quite possible that in pre-production form.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the tuner showed a very vicious modification of the Subaru WRX STI sedan. It should be emphasized that this vehicle will be featured in a new series of Gymkhana videos.
