There are photos of the new Volkswagen TiguanMay 26, 2020
Tiguan with a sloping roof should come to the car market this year. This version is likely to share the engine range with the base SUV.
VW Tiguan with a coupe-like silhouette is being tested in China. The first pictures of the novelty appeared on the Web in March, and a couple of weeks ago there were photos of the car without camouflage. Note that in the previous frames you can see the car, which is covered in front with silver stripes that imitated the decor and optics of the Changan CS85 cross-coupe.
In the SUV, in new pictures, part of the film moved away and showed the grille. The headlights are still hidden, as the auto head optics will come again from a refreshed ordinary SUV. We were also shown for the first time a stern without spotty camouflage, but this is all a props, because the lights on the test sample are almost the same as the Changan CS85.
There are currently no pictures of the interior of the Tiguan coupe, the interior of the usual restyled SUV is also classified for now. It is assumed that the engine range will be represented by the following units: gasoline 1.4 TSI, 1.5 TSI and 2.0 TSI, as well as with a 2.0 TDI diesel engine. Both variations will most likely be offered in the form of hybrids, and we will soon have a “charged” R-version – a coupe-like SUV can also get this.
The debut of the usual updated Tiguan, according to preliminary data, should happen in the summer. Note that in the Middle Kingdom they will soon launch sales of another Volkswagen cross-coupe – Tayron X.
