There are photos of the charged crossover Mercedes-AMG GLB 35May 1, 2019
The new compact crossover Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class will be available in some parts of the world before the end of the year. This spy video captures the high-performance performance of this car, which received the GLB 35 designation. The car was captured on the roads around the Nürburgring race track.
Like the “charged” 5-door A35 hatchback, as well as the CLA 35 coupe, the high-performance version of the GLB 35 crossover will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a power of 302 horsepower (400 Nm). A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission will transmit all torque from the engine to all four wheels. The aluminum panel under the engine and diagonal chassis will improve body rigidity. Visual improvements should include a pair of “skinny” strips in the grille, as well as double round tailpipes of the exhaust system.
While there is no information about whether Mercedes intends to offer a more powerful version of its new crossover – we are talking about GLB 45.
If, however, this car appears, it will share a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a high-performance A45, whose power is 383 hp. as standard and 416 hp performed by S. In the hatchback, both power plants are connected to an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, as well as an all-wheel drive system.
The public premiere of the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class Crossover will be held at the Frankfurt Motor Show this fall. The batch production will be launched at the company’s plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico, along with the 5-door A-class hatchback. In the future, the all-electric version of the crossover will also be offered.
