There are new details about the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300September 20, 2020
Toyota is slated to premiere its new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 SUV in 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic has made some adjustments to those plans.
In fact, there is not even a clear idea of the appearance of the new car yet, since the SUV has not yet been seen in tests. There are many renders on the Internet allegedly of what the Land Cruiser 300 will look like, but Toyota has officially stated that these pictures are not true and the final design of the model has not yet been formed.
It is known for sure that the SUV will be built on the TNGA architecture and will receive a unique platform with a frame structure. Also, a large amount of aluminum and high-alloy steels will be used in the body.
Details have recently been revealed about which engine will be installed in the new model. Presumably it will be a 3.3-liter V6 diesel. But its power has not been specified. At the same time, it is said that it will be more powerful than the currently proposed motor.
The most powerful for the new Land Cruiser will be a hybrid unit consisting of a supercharged gasoline “six” and an electric motor. The same 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 will be the base petrol engine. In addition, the Land Cruiser engine range will include a 3.4-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel.
