The presentation of the new generation Hyundai Elantra was held recently. Already then there were rumors about the possibility of a “charged” version coming out. Now the information has been confirmed.
Hyundai talked about the sports modification of the new Hyundai Elantra. The seventh generation of the Korean sedan turned out to be truly innovative and will attract the interest of buyers in the sedan class. The uniquely charged version with the index N will find its buyer. The front part of the car received a carbon fiber splitter, a new version of the headlights and a more aggressive grille. The sporty look is complemented by double tailpipes, an elegant spoiler and carbon fiber side skirts.
Also note the glossy black roof for contrast. In the sports modification N, the interior design will also change. Designers equipped the car with a new steering wheel with a flat bottom, on which is located the start button for the sports mode. The salon received new sports seats and accents made of hydrocarbon fiber.
The main one, of course, will be the new engine. The information has not yet been officially confirmed, but most likely the Hyundai Elantra N will receive a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a return of 271 hp. at 353 Nm of torque.
The same power plant is now used in the sports version of the i30 with the N index. As a transmission, a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission is offered. Drive – front.
