There are data on the new generation Renault CapturNovember 12, 2018
A couple of hours ago it became known that the long-awaited update for the fairly popular crossover model will be presented only next year. The international auto show in the German city of Frankfurt am Main was chosen as the venue for the show.
As it became known to foreign journalists, the second generation of the Renault Captur will be offered not only with traditional engines, but also with a hybrid powertrain.
It is reported that the latter will consist of a supercharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 1.6 liters, as well as an electric motor with a battery of 9.8 kWh. We assure representatives of the French automaker, on only one electric trap, the car will be able to drive about 48 km.
Our insider friends managed to find out that the same hybrid power plant will be used for other models of the French-Japanese alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. This is probably the third generation of the Nissan Qashqai crossover or the second generation Renault Kadjar crossover.
There are also rumors that the usual engine range for the new Renault Captur will consist of a 1.3-liter gasoline engine, which was also worked on by Mercedes-Benz engineers. An updated version of the 1.5-liter diesel dCi can also be offered.
The novelty will receive a significantly modified external and internal appearance. Also worth noting is the emergence of the semi-autonomous control system ProPilot.
