The web revealed the design of the updated Renault SanderoJune 28, 2019
The photos were taken at the site of the Brazilian plant, where the assembly of new items began. The car received clear features of the crossover, new taillights and an additional body kit around the perimeter.
In Brazil, started production of the updated Renault Sandero. Unfortunately, there is nothing remarkable for us – we have updated the hatchback last year, and now we have to wait for a new generation. Nevertheless, the Brazilian line of Renault cars is developing almost in parallel with ours, so it is interesting to watch their innovations (some may migrate to us).
Thus, the Brazilian Sandero 2020 model year received a new plastic body kit around the perimeter of the car and increased ground clearance. But that does not make it a crossover or a Stepway version. A version of Stepway with a different design has already been patented for the local market. Apparently, this is a simple adaptation of the model to local needs. Another change was the taillights, which increased slightly in size.
In the motor line changes are not expected. For local versions are offered with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine, as well as with a classic 1.6-liter engine. Together with them can work manual transmission or variator (previously proposed robotized gearbox).
