The US authorities are investigating the incident with a lighted Tesla Model S electric car in Los Angeles
The US authorities began investigating the incident when a Tesla Model S electric car caught fire in Los Angeles. The car belongs to Hollywood director Michael Morris (“House of cards”, “According to wolf laws”). According to FutureCars, experts of the National Transportation Security Administration (NUBT) have already gone to California. According to them, this investigation will help them “learn more about fires in cars with electric motors.”
In turn, representatives of Tesla are conducting their own investigation of this incident. According to them, this emergency is “extremely unusual” and its exact causes are still unknown.
The Tesla Model S, Michael Morris, caught fire while driving along Santa Monica Boulevard. The video of the incident was posted in his Twitter wife of the director – actress Mary McCormack. As a result of the incident, no one was hurt.
This is not the first road accident involving Tesla cars. The most notorious incident occurred on May 7 in the city of Williston, Florida.
