The updated X3 M will become the best-selling BMW M carJune 22, 2019
The leaders of the Bavarian company are confident that the updated version of the high-performance crossover will become the most popular model of the sports division of BMW M.
Foreign publications, whose journalists have already managed to ride the new X3 M, say that the Bavarian high-performance crossover in its new version is actually quite a capable machine worthy of the M mark. The automaker invested a lot in developing the “charged” crossover and He believes that in the near future, the X3 M will become the best-selling BMW M model.
Currently, the bestseller of M divisions around the world is the evil M2 coupe in the Competition version, which, depending on the region of sales, is followed by the “charged” M3 or M5. BMW expects the new X3 M crossover to change the current order of things and take first place in the next few years.
Australian analyst firm Motoring recently interviewed Adam Davis, BMW representative in Australia, who confirmed BMW’s ambitions regarding the X3 M.
“We expect the X3 M to become the top selling M car. He is now in Australia. So for X3 M it is logical to move along the same course. ” BMW’s global boss Markus Flush is also confident that this is the most likely direction: “The X3 M will be in the high-performance segment of the car, probably the best-selling one.”
With up to 503 horsepower (600 Nm), the new X3 M is the most powerful version of the X3 crossover ever released. In the case of the X3 M Competition, the sprint to 100 km / h takes 4.0 seconds. The maximum speed in electronic form is limited to 250 km / h.
