The updated Chevrolet Camaro embarked on the conveyorAugust 8, 2020
The current generation of the Chevy Camaro was presented in 2015. This is the second update to the sports car since 2019.
General Motors has launched a restyled version of its Chevy Camaro 2020 sports car. This information was released on Saturday, August 8th. As a reminder, Chevrolet already released an update for the Camaro a year ago. The production of new items will be set up at the same General Motors plant in Michigan. To date, only this enterprise has launched the production of the Chevrolet Camaro.
The last car of the 2020 model year rolled off the assembly line on August 5, and already on August 6, the production line for the 2021 model year cars began to work. The updated Camaro car will receive a number of significant changes – in particular, a 10-speed automatic transmission will be added to the SS 1LE Track Performance Package. Previously, only 6-speed man ual transmission was available in this version. GM claims that the dynamics and driving comfort will be no worse than in the case of the classic manual transmission.
Also, buyers will be offered several new body shades and a multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
Earlier, General Motors commented on the situation regarding the problems with the Chevrolet Corvette sports car. In July, several car owners filed complaints about the trunk opening spontaneously while driving at high speed.
